KELLY'S FOUNDATION

Kelly's Foundation, established by Jordan Burk in loving memory of his uncle, Kelly Owen Burk, is a dedicated organization with a vibrant mission. Our primary focus is to create engaging, colorful, and educational materials for children of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those with Down syndrome.

 

The essence of "Kelly & Kelso" lies in its powerful message: although we may appear different on the outside, we share common needs, desires, and emotions. Through heartwarming stories, Kelly and his new friends demonstrate that, deep down, we are all alike. Our differences are what make this world a fascinating and extraordinary place. 

 

Kelly's Foundation operates as a non-profit organization, relying on the kindness and generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations. All funds raised go directly into producing and distributing the "Kelly & Kelso" series. These materials are instrumental in educating children about Down syndrome and other special abilities.

• Advocacy for Media Representation: We strive to increase the representation of individuals with special abilities in media. Through our advocacy efforts, we work to break down barriers and create more inclusive narratives. 

 

• Promoting Diversity and Inclusion: Quality literature plays a pivotal role in shaping young minds. We are committed to educating children about diversity and inclusion through our engaging storytelling.

• Amplifying Unique Contributions: We aim to expand awareness of the remarkable contributions made by individuals with Down syndrome and other special abilities. We celebrate these unique talents through our active presence on social media and informative newsletters.

Additionally, Jordan Burk is available to speak at schools, organizations, and events that share our mission of fostering diversity, inclusion, and understanding.
