We here at Kelly and Kelso are so excited to be partnering with a local DFW baker, The Sweet Stuff, to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Day 2021!  We will be offering their amazingly delicious, signature vanilla cupcakes with creamy vanilla frosting in blue and yellow, which are the colors used to symbolize Down syndrome awareness. Now, that's worth celebrating! The Kelly and Kelso team will also be personally delivering the cupcakes to your place of business on Friday, March 19th, since the 21st falls on a Sunday this year. Why do we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st day of March? The 21st day of March (the 3rd month of the year) was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.

 

Shhh.. don’t tell anyone, but you may also get a visit from Kelly and Kelso themselves! That’s right! Kelly and Kelso, along with the author and illustrator of the book series will be delivering the cupcakes right to your door! So make sure you come ready to take all the photos you can with the stars from the book series! Jordan, Kelly and Kelso can’t wait to meet you to thank you for your support in raising awareness for such an amazing cause!
